- Upload someone's CV without their consent. Third-party uploads require a recorded attestation that you have the person's consent, and that attestation is logged with your identity, IP address, and browser details. A false attestation is grounds for immediate termination.
- Scrape the service. No automated harvesting of profiles, badge codes, reports, or any other data. The API with an issued key is the only supported programmatic access.
- Use reports to harass or discriminate. Reports state what sources said. Using them to harass a person, or as a pretext for unlawful discrimination, is forbidden.
- Attack the platform. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, guess one-time codes or tokens, forge consent, manipulate check results, or otherwise undermine verification integrity.
- Misrepresent results. Do not alter a report or badge, or present someone else's verification as your own.
02What happens if you do
We may suspend or terminate your account, cancel pending checks, inform affected people, and, where the law requires or permits, report the conduct. The details are in our Terms of Service.
